Have a group that would like to make a difference by hosting a fundraiser? Contact us and we can provide ideas, guidelines and anything else you might need to get your fundraiser off the ground. In the past, groups have held food drives, sponsored a child or school and planned their own fundraisers for our program. All ideas are welcome and very much appreciated!
Blessings in a Backpack is in need of food items that are ready to eat and easy to prepare. We have developed a list of top food donation needs:
box of Single Serving Oatmeal Packs
Single Serving Cereal Boxes
Macaroni and Cheese
Because we have established relationships with local grocers, often financial donations allow us to purchase more food at an advantageous price than the average donor. Please consider a financial donation if your item is not included on the above list.
With Blessings in a Backpack, it is easy to make a difference! Your contributions do much more than just feed a child. Your support can help increase student attendance at school, raise test scores, and improve overall health for students in our program.
There are several ways to get involved. Whether you're adopting a school, holding a fundraiser, donating to a school or packing weekend food bags, you can play a pivotal role in improving the lives of kids in your community. Interested? Contact us now.
